In this article, I want to talk to you about self-belief…
This is something that a lot of Filipinos can relate to because I’m sure that every Pinoy at a certain point in their lives have lacked self-belief, myself included.
Ang kalidad ng buhay na mayroon ka really comes down to how much belief you have in yourself to accomplish anything.
Kapag iniisip mo ito, if you don’t really believe in yourself to do something, you probably won’t give it your full effort, and without putting in 100% effort, your chances of successfully accomplishing it can be limited.
And this can apply to anything…
Halimbawa, nagkaroon ng punto kung saan wala akong tiwala sa sarili ko and the value I can offer others within the field of online freelancing, something I loved doing and what I was passionate about.
Sinimulan kong ikumpara ang sarili ko sa iba and made myself believe I simply just wasn’t good enough.
Ang mga negatibong kaisipang iyon and my lack of self-belief stopped me from becoming motivated to even get out there and try at all.
But as I soon realized, no one ever starts anything out being perfect or mastering any skill set.
Kailangan ng oras, pagsasanay at patience to be good at anything.
It’s a matter of firstly believing in yourself and in your abilities that you can accomplish anything.
Ang pagkakaroon ng matibay na paniniwala sa sarili has a lot of benefits as I’m sure you know…
You not only recognize your ability to accomplish any goal you put in your mind, but that optimism and faith that you have knowing you have that ability is such a great driving force, a motivator to get it done.
Pinapabuti din nito ang iyong overall wellbeing as you’re treating yourself kindly and with respect.
You’re no longer being consumed with negative thoughts that hinder you from achieving your goals.
And it is when you have that belief in yourself, that anything is possible.
Kaya, kung binabasa mo ito ngayon at Nakita mo ang iyong sarili na kulang in this area, I’d love to personally share with you some ideas that can help strengthen that belief again the same exact way it did with me.
1. You need to have confidence in your abilities to accomplish anything
Anuman ang hamon na kinakaharap mo, you need to believe that you have the ability to overcome it.
Anuman ang malalaking goals na mayroon ka, break it down to small steps until you know you can achieve it.
2. You need to stop limiting yourself and blame your current circumstances for not getting what you want
Gaano man kalaki ang iyong goal or dreams, remember it will take time to achieve it.
Huwag ibase ang iyong paniniwala in what your circumstances are now in terms of knowledge, skills and experience.
Sa paglipas ng panahon, you can acquire all of those by going out there, taking action and learning from your mistakes.
Kailangan mo lang maniwala sa iyong ability to learn and grow.
3. You need to treat yourself with respect
Huwag kailanman hayaang kainin ka ng mga egatibong kaisipan and say you’re not worthy or good enough.
Every Pinoy deserves greatness and has the ability to achieve it.
Practice affirmations, surround yourself in a positive environment.
Palaging ipaalala sa iyong sarili that you are worthy enough to achieve anything your heart desires.
4. Lastly, during hard times, always have faith
There is never a straight road when achieving success.
Makakaharap mo ang difficult times; you’ll make mistakes along the way.
But it’s important to shift your mind into believing that those mistakes are opportunities for you learn and grow as you’ll come out of every road block stronger and smarter than you ever were before.
So ilan lamang yan sa mga ideya that has personally helped me when I’ve lacked belief in myself.
At the end of the day, it’s a choice to believe in yourself and know that every success or win you encounter in your life all stems from having belief in yourself in the first place.
That’s it for me in this article, hope you found value in this.
