How much does happiness actually require of you? How much do you really need in order for you to be happy? The happiness requirements!
HAPPINESS REQUIREMENTS
We each have our own small universe to live in, therefore I suppose every Filipino has a different view on what makes them happy.
Life will always be about seeking more, and making progress toward your goals is important, but your mental attitude while traveling is even more crucial.
Looking back over the previous four years since I started working online, I was in my happiest place at the beginning of my adventure, even though I wasn’t making millions of pesos back then and had a sense of freedom in my life because I wasn’t any longer doing a job that didn’t fulfill me.
FINANCIAL FREEDOM
Financial freedom to me is earning enough residual income each month to be able to support your ideal lifestyle.
Any Pinoy who is still in the rat race and believes that financial possessions would bring them happiness will quickly come to the realization that such happiness is very temporary, especially if obtaining such possessions means risking your life.
Consider where your daily thoughts are when it comes to leading your ideal life. Is your goal to work and stress throughout your entire working life in anticipation of the day you can retire and live your dream life?
I think it should be something that makes you excited since it is much more likely to happen in the near future than how most Filipinos are taught to think—making enough money to eventually live their ideal life.
NEW OPPORTUNITIES EVERYWHERE
If you are prepared to study and put in the effort, the internet has given us a multitude of chances to generate income with an online business.
If I could go back in time, I would relocate to Bali, where the cost of living is extremely low, and work every day to realize my dreams.
I observe the happiness of Richard and Ray, two of my coaches and friends, who made the decision to quit their jobs as workers and go to Bali three months ago in order to launch their internet business.
Although they have already achieved financial freedom and are growing quickly, they have always been appreciative.
MINDSET SHIFT
Your aspirations for financial independence, a certain way of life, a particular group of people, or a particular impact on the world are all within reach. It might be necessary to change your perspective on how you plan to get there if it seems so far away.
I would advise seeking mentors who have accomplished your desired goals and getting educated in their fields.
You may create anything you want, but it’s crucial to keep an attitude of thankfulness as you go. You will come to see that you actually don’t need much to be happy, and that abundance will enter your life once you let go of your attachment to your expectations.
Whatever road you decide to choose, remain modest and happy.
We’ve been having so much fun here at Bantayan Island that I decided to extend our stay.
