I would like to share on why I finally started to invest in myself, learn more to earn more.
Alam nating lahat ito…
No one gets rich from being an employee.
Ngunit karamihan sa mga Pilipino ay nagsisikap na makakuha o manatiling nag-tatrabaho.
Well, maybe not everyone wants to get rich. They want a simple life living in a simple home and that’s all right.
Walang problema. Pero ang problema ay, bawat taon, humuhina ang purchasing power ng iyong pera. In short, the product that you used to be able to buy only for one hundred pesos, now it’s P150. Look at the price of onions, eggs, and many other commodities today.
INFLATION
At bawat taon, mas humihina ang iyong buying power bilang consumer. Tinatawag natin itong inflation.
Ang iyong sweldo ay hindi makahabol.
Ayon sa recent study, ang sweldo ay tumataas ng 4% bawat taon on average. Ang inflation ay nasa pagitan ng 2%-3% bawat taon.
You are only 1% ahead. That is if you have an increase. Kaya naman nahihirapan kang mabuhay. Sinusubukan mong makatipid ng pera, but they simply don’t work. Everything is increasing except your height.
LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHEK
Gusto mong makakuha ng health o life insurance but then, di talaga kasya.
Iyan ang MALAKING problema ng karamihan sa mga Pilipino na nabubuhay from paycheck to paycheck.
Para sa karamihan, ang gagawin nila ay magsusumikap pa upang sana ay mabago ang mga bagay-bagay. The kind of person who will not even sleep if possible.
But again, things are not changing for the better.
Instead, the debt grows. The bill goes up. Nagmamahalan ang mga bilihin. Ano na ang gagawin mo?
GET RICH QUICK SCHEME
Tapos sinabihan ka ng officemate mo na sumali sa isang bagong “business opportunity”. Pioneering ka daw.
Nakarehistro daw sila sa SEC, DTI, Baranggay, City Hall, ang they are also registered with the planet Mars.
Many of them became millionaires. Power!
There is a former taxi driver. Former OFW. Former security guard. Those who did not finish school. They all became millionaires.
Ang you are short on money…
So, joined them. Tsaka, only P3,000 investment and you will make millions of pesos.
Hanggang sa napagtanto mo na dapat kang mag-recruit ng mga kaibigan, kamag-anak, kapitbahay at maging bahagi ng pyramiding scheme na ito.
All you uplines are advancing, winning awards on stage, but you…
You still have Sky flakes and tunafor lunch.
Pagkalipas ng maikling panahon, malalaman mo na 2% lamang ng pyramid ang kumikita. Yumaman sila sa iyong mga pagsisikap. Pero ikaw? Naipit ka pa rin sa parehong sitwasyon. Sahod, bayad ng bills at bayad ng utang. Still short on money.
TRADITIONAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
Then, your brother-in-law called.
He says na pwede ka daw mag pa-alaga ng biik. Piggery business. Just give money and they will raise the piglets.
When the piglet grows to a pig…
Sell it then share in the profits.
At pagkatapos ng ilang buwan, the piglets will get sick. Will die. Or the caretaker will ask for more money for feeds.
And what do you know in the piggery business, so you give them money. Months later, you have no feedback from your investment. Again, your investment is lost, your time is wasted, you are hoping for nothing…
NEW BUSINESS INVESTMENT
You take an Uber going home from the office.
Pagkatapos ay nabasa mo sa Facebook kung magkano ang kinikita ng mga tao sa Uber. The business must be good.
You have a brand new car, and you still have an income. On Sundays, mayroon kang magandang sasakyan na magagamit ng iyong pamilya.
Sosyal, naka kotse.
Pagkalipas ng 30 days, you need to make a down payment on your car loan. Na leche na.
Cash is flowing out, for gas, for toll gate, for pocket money, and for maintenance. Kailangan mong magmaneho ng hindi bababa sa 12 oras sa isang araw para kumite dito. Taxi driver talaga peg mo.
Makalipas ang ilang buwan, you are tired of driving. It is better to be in the office.
Well, you already owe money to the bank. It is hard to back down. Pride is being talked about here. You posted your brand-new car on Facebook.
Sa madaling salita, mayroon kang magandang kotse, ngunit mayroon kang malaking utang and you’re still stuck in the same rat race.
Trabaho, sahod, bayad utang, trabaho, sahod, bayad utang… OK. Enough of these stories.
INVEST IN YOURSELF, LEARN MORE TO EARN MORE
Ang ibinahagi ko lang sa inyo ay ang mga kwentong paulit-ulit kong naririnig mula sa aking mga subscribers and readers.
Nag-invest sila ng oras at pera sa maraming Negosyo na nangangako sa kanila ng mas magandang buhay.
Ngunit HINDI sila namuhunan sa kanilang sarili. Kayang-kaya nilang bumili ng magandang gadget pero MASYADONG mahal ang pagbili ng P500 na libro.
Actually, it costs more to put off investing in your own education and progress.
Because you didn’t invest in learning how to get better at what you do, you’ve wasted a lot of time and money.
That’s why I began blogging in 2016 about becoming a better Pinoy, one idea at a time, covering subjects like online business, self-improvement, and many more. to aid in your education and that of other Filipinos, something traditional institutions are unable to provide.
It is already 2023.
