Isa sa mga pinaka-karaniwan ngunit controversial questions I get asked a lot is.. Do you have to build a business purely based on what you’re passionate about?
Ang sagot sa tanong na iyon, for me at least, is NO.
I personally see my business as a means of not only generating me a source of income but a vehicle that enables me to discover and pursue those things that truly excite and inspire me.
It’s safe to say that I love to spend time with my family and friends (at home or travelling) and being able to operate a business that runs on automation has really given me the time and freedom to pursue that.
Not only that, but it’s really given me the time to individually pursue my own passions.
I am working towards building up my brand based around my passion for photography.
Going through this entrepreneurial journey online has made me discover a lot about myself and what fuels my drive and passion for life.
I saw the Digital Start Up Toolkit as a vehicle to not only gain the capital, but skill sets and experiences to finally pursue what I love, which in return has fueled up my excitement and love for my business.
You see.. once I had discovered my why and what it was that I was truly passionate about, I started to get passionate about the vehicle that had enabled me to pursue it.
The golden nugget here is that you must first be who you truly are. Find out your why and then do what you need to do in order to get where you truly want to be.
What is it that excites and motivates you? Is it spending more time with your family? Is it having the freedom to travel around Philippines or the world? Is it being able to finally pursue a passion of yours?
If for any reason what you love doing is not enabling you to generate enough income, then look into building a business that will propel you forward, a vehicle that will enable you to do more of what it is that you love and get passionate about it!
The more action you take in your life, the more you will discover so much about yourself and what inspires you and that’s where your true passion lies.
