Alam mo ba na isa sa pinakamalaking dahilan kung bakit sumusuko ang mga Pinoy sa kanilang pangarap at layunin ay ang hindi pag-track ng kanilang progress?
Let me explain…
When Filipinos commit to achieving something bigger than themselves, haharapin nila ang maraming mga hadlang sa daan.
Roadblocks like self-doubt, lost motivation, lost drive, not knowing if they’re doing the right stuff, etc.
But, there’s one roadblock that plays a big role in people’s decision to give up on their dreams and goals and…
… that roadblock is feeling like they’re not making progress.
When you’re on your journey to success, malamang na magkakaroon ng isang yugto ng panahon when you’re going to feel like you’re running in circles and not making any progress.
And if you have that feeling for some time, eventually, you’re going to think about giving up.
It’s very bad because the chances of you experiencing that or having experienced that are big.
But, just as with every other thing in the world, may solusyon sa problemang ito.
And the solution lies in tracking your progress.
Dahil kapag sinusubaybayan mo ang iyong pag-unlad, you’re going to notice even the small improvements you’re making and that is going to assure you that you’re making progress.
But, if you’re not tracking your progress, you’re going to look at the bigger picture and not notice the small improvements you’re making.
That’s why successful Filipinos or Pinoys always keep track of their progress.
It simply gives you a “report” of everything you’ve improved on and that’s going to give you fuel to move forward.
So, if you don’t want to have the problem that MANY pinoys have had, I recommend you start tracking your progress.
Malaki ang maitutulong nito sa iyo and it’s going to make your journey more pleasant knowing that no matter how small of progress you’re making, you’re making progress.
5 WAYS TRACKING PROGRESS HELPS YOU REACH YOUR GOALS
1. The Mere-Measurement Effect
– ang pagsukat lamang ng iyong aktibidad ay maaaring magtulak s aiyo na kumilos nang higit pa. When you keep track of how much you spend on food, you dine out less. When you watch how many glasses of water you drink each week, you drink more. It’s human nature. By merely measuring your activity, you should see an improvement.
2. Establishes a Baseline
– tracking helps you figure out kung nasaan ka ngayon, na siyang unang hakbang in figuring out whether you’re making progress. It can also help you set a realistic goal. If you are currently only getting 2,500 steps a day, setting a target of 5,000 makes a lot more sense than 10,000.
3. Reminds You of Progress
– kapag naisip mo na ang iyong baseline, keeping track will help you measure your improvement. Ito ay mahalaga dahil celebrating your wins, kahit na ang maliliit, is a big part of keeping your confidence and motivation high. Tracking gives you something to celebrate and pushes you to keep progressing toward your goal.
4. Identifies Problems
– Filipinos who track know immediately when they have stopped making progress. Nakakatulong ito dahil it allows you to course-correct. You can figure what went wrong and why.
5. Focuses Your Attention
– Pinoys who track stay on track because they are paying attention to their behavior. Mapapansin mo na ang tracking is a bit of chore at first, but that’s kind of the point. It forces you to pay attention to the behavior you’re trying to change. It keeps it at the top of your mind and does not allow you to push it down your list of priorities. Of course, sa paglipas ng panahon, tracking consistently does get easier, at sa lalong madaling panahon you’ll be spending less time thinking about it and more time just doing it.
Tulad ng isang mapa, tracking helps you figure out where you are and allows you to plot a course to where you want to be. There is no doubt that keeping track of your progress will take time and effort at first. It is one more habit to get into. But the benefits of tracking are huge.
Ang mga Pinoy who track stay on track. Make sure you are one of them.
